چکیده

مقدمه و هدف:این پژوهش با هدف ارزیابی آثار اقتصادی کاربرد دانش فنی تولید سیب‌زمینی تراریخته (اصلاح ژنتیکی شده ) مقاوم به آفت بید در مزارع سیب‌زمینی‌کاری ده استان عمده تولیدکننده سیب زمینی کشور انجام شده است.
مواد و روش‌ها: در این پژوهش، از تحلیل مازاد اقتصادی برای ارزیابی مزایای اقتصادی بالقوه استفاده از دانش فنی تولید سیب‌زمینی تراریخته مقاوم به آفت بیدسیب‌زمینی در مزارع سیب‌زمینی کشور استفاده شد.
یافته‌ها:بر مبنای یافته‌های پژوهش، نرخ بازده داخلی کشت بذور سیب‌زمینی تراریخته مقاوم به آفت بید درمزارع سیب‌زمینی‌کاری کشور 97% ، نسبت فایده به هزینه بیش‌تر از یک و برابر 4/41 و ارزش کنونی خالص منافع آن نیز حدود 497 میلیارد ریال پیش‌ بینی شده است
بحث و نتیجه‌گیری:بر اساس نتایج،سرمایه‌گذاری در پروژه‌های پژوهشی منتج به دانش فنی تولید سیب زمینی تراریخته ازنظر اقتصادی توجیه‌پذیربوده و  بنابراین، کاربرد این دانش فنی ضمن کاهش خسارت عملکرد و هزینه تولید سیب‌زمینی،منافع اقتصادی و اجتماعی تولیدکنندگان و مصرف‌کنندگان این محصول را افزایش و در دستیابی به امنیت غذایی نقش شایسته‌ای را ایفا خواهد کرد.

Introduction: The present research aims to evaluate the economic effects of the application of the technical knowledge of the production of  transgenic (genetically modified) potatoes resistant to willow pest in the potato fields of ten major potato producing provinces as the potato fields of the whole country.
Materials and Methods: In the present study, the economic surplus analysis was used to evaluate the potential economic benefits of applying the technical knowledge of producing transgenic potato resistant to potato willow pest in the country's potato fields.
Findings: Based on the findings of the research, the internal rate of return (IRR) of the cultivation of transgenic potato seeds resistant to willow pest in the country's potato fields is 97%, the benefit cost ratio is greater than one and equal to 41.4, and the net present value of its benefits is also predicted to be about 497 billion Rials.
Conclusion: The findings show that investing in research projects resulting in this technical knowledge is economically justifiable and its application is expected to increase the economic and social benefits of producers, consumers and food security while reducing yield damage and the cost of potato production.
